About Us

In the summer of 2024, In My Feels founder Amina was asked to run a singing workshop for a couple of friends. Karaoke was a ritual for them, but after the stress of a big project they wanted to experience something
bigger and better.

Fast forward a couple of months and the crowd were belting out ‘Never Too Much’ by Luther Vandross in 3-part harmony, embracing each other and having the best time! The energy was electric.

In My Feels was born.

More about our founder

Amina Gichinga is an East London-based vocalist, musician, and choir director with over 15 years of experience in leading people in song across a variety of settings - from concert halls and festivals to beaches and train stations.

In spring 2024 Amina stepped away from performing at ABBA Voyage after performing 544 shows (2022-2024) as one of the original backing vocalists chosen by Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus to premier the show. Some of Amina’s other career highlights include performing at the London 2012 Olympics Closing Ceremony alongside Muse, George Michael, and The Who, as well as sharing stages at Glastonbury, Shepherd’s Bush Empire, and the Royal Festival Hall with incredible artists and bands like Jessie Ware, Shingai Shoniwa, Mystery Jets and Clare Maguire.

Amina enjoys directing choirs, arranging music for artist recordings, and curating bespoke choirs and bands for studio sessions and live performances, including weddings and special events. Amina has met many incredibly talented, larger-than-life, kind-hearted musicians on her musical journey and is delighted many of them are part of the In My Feels family.

Whether in a concert hall or a casual workshop, Amina’s goal is always the same: to inspire connection, healing, and joy through the power of song.
